GenAI Engineer
If you like the idea of working at the edge of GenAI and shaping AI-generated content, this is for you.
You’ll take the latest generative AI models and turn them into a real, end-to-end product experience. That means figuring out what works, what doesn’t, and how to stitch everything together into something reliable.
What You'll Do
- Integrate and evaluate GenAI video models, onboard new video generation providers (Replicate, PiAPI, direct APIs, etc), benchmark quality/cost/latency tradeoffs, and manage
provider-specific quirks (moderation filters, prompt format differences, resolution/duration constraints).
- Optimize the creative brief pipeline, tune LLM prompting strategies for creative brief generation, experiment with model selection and temperature settings.
- Build and extend the generation pipeline work on the end-to-end flow from input signals → product matching → brief generation → parallel video generation → compositing → streaming delivery.
- Cost and performance optimization, monitor per-provider costs, improve caching, and balance the full GenAI path vs. template fallback path.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience integrating GenAI APIs, particularly video/image generation models (Sora, Veo, Kling, Stable Diffusion, Seedance, or similar). You understand rate limits, async
polling patterns, webhook callbacks, and error handling across providers.
- Prompt engineering proficiency, ability to craft and iterate on system prompts for creative copy generation, scene descriptions, and video generation prompts. Understanding of how model temperature, token budgets, and structured output constraints affect results.
- Pragmatic evaluator mindset, comfortable running model benchmarks, documenting learnings, and making data-driven provider selection decisions based on quality, cost, and latency.
Nice to Have
- Experience with vision APIs and photo analysis
- Understanding of content moderation in GenAI systems
- Experience with HLS streaming and video delivery
- Familiarity with media processing, FFmpeg for video compositing, Pillow for image manipulation, audio mixing, HLS streaming concepts.
- React/TypeScript experience is a plus
