Data Engineer

This is for you, if you care about building data systems that genuinely help people make better decisions and you value ownership, clarity, and learning.

About the role:

As part of our team you will explore the data, formulate the right questions, and present your findings. You will use your skills in statistics, data analytics, data visualization, and machine learning algorithms to identify trends and create forecasts for the business.

What you will do

  • Set up data infrastructure

  • Develop, implement and maintain databases

  • Enhance the data collection process

  • Collect structured and unstructured data

  • Source missing data

  • Organize data into usable formats

  • Process, clean & verify data

  • Analyze data, generate information and insights for trends and patterns to find answers to specific questions

  • Communicate findings to stakeholders using visualization and other means

What you need to have/know

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Statistics

  • Good knowledge of a computer programming language, preferably Python

  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases

  • Experience in building simple ETL Pipelines (using tools like Airbyte, Fivetran or basic scripts)

  • Experience with data modeling like normalization, denormalization and data architecture concepts

  • Experience with BI tools, like Tableau or Looker for basic reporting

  • Statistical thinking

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Proficient in English

Budget range:

Net Monthly Salary: 10 200 lei - 14 100 lei
